- The base card (first card dealt in the foundation) for the game will vary. Build up in suit from the base card to the rank just below the base card. Ranking of cards is continuous. Whenever necessary, build Ace after King.

- Build down
regardless of suit. Ranking of cards is continuous;
build King after Ace whenever necessary. Top card of each column is available for play to the foundations
or to the tableau. Groups of cards may be moved as a unit if they are in sequence down
regardless of suit. Spaces are automatically filled from
the reserve. Spaces may be filled from the waste after the reserve becomes
empty (but not from the tableau) .
