Chakras are energy centers in our body which decides our behavior, attitude, physical, mental and spiritual connections and so many other things. If one chakra is blocked or not functioning properly it can severely affect many things including functioning of the nearby organs, overall mood and mental status etc. Even though there are many such energy connecting points 7 of them are prominent ones – root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras. In Sanskrit they are called Muladhara, Svadhishthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara.
There are many frequencies associated with chakras – some are basic tones and some are octaves. In this video we used 3 root chakra frequencies – 8Hz, 256Hz and ancient Solfeggio scale tune 396Hz. All these 3 tones are modulated in the isochronic way. Since 8hz comes in the alpha brainwave range this can also be used for alpha meditation which is very relaxing and soothing. During Alpha range brain will be awake but drowsy also physically and mentally relaxed. Good for meditation or to listen to affirmation or inspirational things.
Root chakra or muladhara is located at the base of the spine and is associated with survival, security and stability. Mantra is LAM and color is red. When root chakra is balanced you will feel healthy, grounded and safe. When not in balance it can create many issues like lower body health issues, not feeling secure, constipation, eating disorders etc. Some root chakra affirmations are : I am grounded. I am safe and secure. I am abundant. I am taken care of. I am financially secure. Root chakra is also connected with money and physical things. So if you have any financial problems also then it is a good idea to tune and balance root chakra.
